NOTE: There are 2 types of 100% natural organic latex… ‘Dunlop’ or ‘Talalay’
Each ‘Latex For Less’ mattress uses both types. Both are 100% natural and free of any toxic substances and both are excellent choices.

One side of each ‘Latex For Less’ mattress is firm side and the other side is medium.
The firm side is the side with the Dunlop latex and the medium side is the side with the Talalay latex. So, the mattress can be flipped to accommodate a persons’ preference. That is a nice feature.

The mattresses are made in Los Angeles, California. All materials are organic including the cotton cover.

The warranty is excellent and if the mattress should be returned for a refund, even the shipping costs are free.

The mattresses can be placed on either a platform, a box spring or on an adjustable base.

There are no synthetics of any kind used in their mattresses and they are 100% free of any toxic substances.

The composition of the ‘Latex For Less’ 9 inch mattress is as follows:

GOTS certified organic cotton
½ inch 100% natural wool
6 inches of 100% natural Dunlop latex in firm (85 Density)
2 inches of 100% natural Talalay latex in medium (N2 Density)
½ inch 100% natural wool

Note that Dunlop latex is much firmer, so it provides support for the Latex For Less latex mattress. This firmer support layer adds to the mattresses longevity. Talalay latex is softer and lighter.

Why 100% Natural Latex is MUCH BETTER than Memory Foam

Memory foam mattresses contain man-made chemicals and have a tendency to “off-gas”. Memory foam is said to sleep “hotter”. A natural latex mattress is made from plant-derived latex (rubber plants) rather than chemicals or synthetic petroleum-based synthetics. The latex in the ‘Latex for Less’ mattresses is made from the sap of the ‘Hevea brasilienesis’ rubber tree. There are ZERO artificial materials contained in a truly 100% natural organic latex mattress.
